1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Living Connects Home Healthcare website ("Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. About Our Services

Living Connects is a Georgia-licensed Private Home Care Provider (PHCP) offering non-medical home care services, along with licensed acupuncture and nutrition counseling services provided by credentialed professionals. This website provides general information about our services and allows you to request a consultation; it does not constitute a service agreement. All care services are governed by a separate signed client service agreement provided at the time of intake.

3. No Medical Advice

Content on this website is for informational purposes only and is not medical advice. Our non-medical home care services do not include skilled nursing or medical treatment. Acupuncture and nutrition counseling services are provided under separate professional licensure and are not a substitute for medical care from a physician.

4. Eligibility

Minors and Children & Youth Support Services

Guardian Consent for Minor Clients

Certain services described on this website, including Children & Youth Support Services, may be provided to individuals under the age of 18 ("Minor Clients"). Living Connects will only provide services to a Minor Client where a parent or legal guardian has: (a) entered into the applicable service agreement on the Minor Client's behalf; (b) reviewed and approved the Minor Client's care plan; and (c) confirmed their legal authority to consent to care on the Minor Client's behalf. Where the client receiving services is a Minor Client, all references in these Terms to "you," "client," or "family" shall be read to mean the parent or legal guardian acting on the Minor Client's behalf, and that parent or legal guardian remains responsible for all obligations under these Terms, including payment.

Mandated Reporting

Living Connects caregivers and staff are mandated reporters under Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 19-7-5). If a caregiver or staff member has reasonable cause to believe that a child has been subjected to abuse or neglect, Georgia law requires that individual to report the suspicion to the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) or local law enforcement within 24 hours. This obligation applies regardless of any confidentiality provision elsewhere in these Terms or in our Privacy Policy, and it cannot be waived or limited by agreement between Living Connects and any client, parent, or guardian.

Scope of Children & Youth Support Services

Children & Youth Support Services provided by Living Connects are non-medical and non-clinical in nature. These services do not include, and are not a substitute for, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, psychological or psychiatric treatment, academic tutoring or instruction, or any other clinical, therapeutic, or educational service. The client's family remains responsible for maintaining any clinical, therapeutic, or educational providers appropriate to the Minor Client's needs. Living Connects caregivers do not replace, supervise, or direct the work of such providers.

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a request for services or apply for employment through this Site.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Site, including submitting false information, attempting unauthorized access to any part of the Site, or using the Site for unlawful purposes.

6. Caregiver Applications

By submitting an employment application, you consent to Living Connects conducting a criminal background check, reference verification, and other screening required under Georgia PHCP licensing regulations.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, and branding, is the property of Living Connects Home Healthcare and may not be used without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Living Connects is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site. Nothing in this section limits liability arising from actual care services, which are governed separately by your signed client service agreement.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Living Connects from claims arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
