Caregivers are matched to assignments based on the specific services a client needs. Depending on your role, you may need one or more of the following:
Note: caregivers provide reminders only and do not administer medication, consistent with Georgia non-medical PHCP guidelines
Not required for all caregivers. Only applicable if your assignment includes driving clients to appointments or errands.
Living Connects covers the cost of required background checks and initial certifications for hired caregivers as part of our onboarding process.
Provide hands-on daily living support, medication reminders, and companionship for clients in their own homes.
Key requirements: Personal Care + Medication Reminders skills. Driving not required unless assigned.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and daily hygiene routines with dignity and care.
Key requirements: Personal Care skills required. Driving not required.
Provide friendly companionship, conversation, and light homemaker support for clients who value connection.
Key requirements: Companion + Homemaker skills. Driving preferred but not required — clients needing transportation will be matched separately.
